2. Who is the Charter of Environmental Education aimed at?

Agreeing that Environmental Education concerns everyone, of all ages, this Charter is addressed to the following social groups:
 Educators of all grades and disciplines, trainers and animators,
 Those working for the mass media and are involved in communication about environmental issues,
 Those who are responsible for formulating a strategy in education and communication about the environment (in Ministries and other public organisations),
 Members of non-governmental environmental organisations, who undertake communication actions for the environment in the context of their activities,
 Social-professional groups whose activities, by nature, have important impacts for the environment,
 Politicians, elected or not, who take decisions which influence the environment.
