Introduction of Horacio BRITTOS

My name is Horacio Brittos. I am a male, 44 years old, and I live in El
Bolsón, province of Río Negro, in Argentinean Patagonia. I am a professor of
economy. In the last years I've carried out post- doctorate studies in
Sustainable Development. I am studying a master in Ecological Economy.
Besides working in education, I am a journalist specialized in regional
economy and organic production, in a Patagonian journal. I collaborate with
other media.
I am beginning some projects, together with other professionals, of training
and social intervention with groups of poor peasants. In this way, we are
part of an organization called DaEH Transcisciplinary Team - Patagonia,
(DaEH: Human scale-based Development)
I'm interested in participating in the forum, and I am interested in WP21
because I believe that the political organs - the government institutions,
and their responsible stuff, diplomats, etc. are working for interests that
are opposed to, not just different from, the vision that I have of what
people need.
The WP21 could give the voice to those having no voice. To show that there
is a reality that have not place in the current governments. The own idea of
democracy should be recreated, at least in our poor Latin American
countries.
