Introduction of Tim GILMAN
Tim GILMAN
Friday, November 08, 2002 9:34 PM

Hello World,

My name is Tim Gilman. I was born in 1976 in San Jose, California (U.S.A.) and have lived my entire life in the San Francisco Bay Area. For the past 8 years I have been working as a computer programmer.

When I was 14 I read a book entitled "PlanetHood" that promoted the idea of world government as an enabler of world peace. I then proceeded to read as much as I could on different forms of government. When I was 18 I first encountered the World Constitution and Parliament Association, and I helped make available the Earth Constitution over the budding Internet. It was around that time in my life that I realized computer networks could connect people regardless of geography or ideology.

Since then I have been working as a professional software engineer to better understand computer technology and how it can be used to help bring change to the world. I believe I have a solid understanding of what computer networks are capable of. I'm now looking forward to reintroducing myself to the progressive movement and to helping develop a peaceful and sustainable world.

Cheers,

Tim Gilman
