Eradicating poverty, guarantee minimal rights and linguistic democracy for the WP
Joan INGLADA
Tuesday, November 12, 2002 6:30 PM

ººº Abstract: As the poverty is not eradicated from the Earth and all the human beings are not guaranteed their minimal rights, and the linguistic communication is not democratic, the Human Diversity is not represented in the World Parliament and therefore there won't be neither democracy nor freedom nor peace. ººº

Dear co-list participants:

There is an indispensable right that is the Right to the Existence. If we don't have guaranteed this right, being in possession of the other rights have not worth. While all the inhabitants of the planet don't have guaranteed the Right to the Existence is not necessary to talk about nothing else, since those that don't have guaranteed this right doesn't have possibility to participate in any type of decisions. So all things decided among people that we have enough resources to live above the threshold of the poverty, doesn't have any worth because there will only be decisions of a part of the world populations and in consequence all the human diversity is not represented.

Therefore the Human rights or any other thing previously resolved cannot satisfy the will of the majority. The right to the Existence can only be guaranteed through the Basic Income. Anyone is free without means that assure the survival and everything that they makes in such condition have not the same worth as the decisions taken by a free person. Moreover, we need to solve the problem of the communication through the linguistic democracy by means of Esperanto or another planned language, otherwise the native of not used languages are in disadvantage regarding the others.

I could develop the concept of Human Diversity, Basic Income and also the concept of Freedom as Non-Dominance, that of the Perpetual Peace or that of the Linguistic Democracy, but I believe that the essence of my message is clear and clear and synthetic messages make easy the debate. Nevertheless if somebody, aside from the forum, wants more information, gladly I will send it to him.

Some links to the mentioned concepts are: http://www.basicincome.org and http://www.uea.org

Sincerely,

Joan Inglada
