(n.f. In this message, the author replies a translator's question concerning an expression that this one had not understood in a previous message. As an answer, Pierre prepared us this text that, in agreement with him, we are going to publish on the list)

My apologies. I wanted to say that if democracy is the least bad way of governing nowadays, who knows, I would regret that the voting majority have not achieve peace in the world, neither international solidarity, nor the will of fight the misery, for health, for shelter, respect, dignity... for all.

What I mean is that we should think more about these so-called democracies to which the citizens bring 99% of voice and whose governments elected - democratically - lead to dictatorship.

Besides today I regret this democracy - soft stomach - that allows the most powerful to dictate their conduct without any respect of aspirations of citizens. I am also afraid, that one day, a non negligible part of the populations, exacerbated by the violence originated in the deterioration of the relations between men, would demand a bigger severity - repression - to live in tranquility, as it is their right, they will say, whereas it is the whole society that won't have known how to face to the respect of each one their way, to freedom, equality and justice.

A real democracy will exists when all electors will be able to read, to write, to count, to understand and to exchange their ideas with others. is this the case today? even in France? I’m currently working on a district, with adults, parents, citizens, to which I learn what are the elections of Prud’hommes in France, what is a college, a high school, where they could lead their children? that any profession requires one elementary knowledge..., to whom I explained last year passed what was a senator, a general councilor, a minister... whereas all went to vote while following the orders of the second tour by fear (French elections confronting a candidate of right wing, Chirac, to one of extreme right, Le Pen), because the medias didn't play their role? Is this a real democracy when there are people that didn't receive the education, the elementary formation necessary to a certain possible reflection with the others?

I believe that the world Parliament should first be worried about to guarantee all men being mentally capable to understand which sense we want, we must give together and for all, to our actions.

I am at your service.

I address to you, and to all the team, all my acknowledgments, my encouragements and my congratulations.

Pierre
