A world parliament for to reduce inequalities and to distribute the wealth

ººº Abstract: I see the World Parliament as an instrument that deal mainly
with the inequalities. Many times the development projects coming from the
North are insufficient. It could be better a popular pressure to annul the
debt of the countries of the South. Or to stop to receive the international
aid and to allow to sell our products without economic barriers. I see the
World Parliament as an effective discussion forum for those topics, enough
strong to force the rich countries to take a real effective posture of
decrease of the inequalities. ººº
Friends,
I see the World Parliament as an instrument that deal mainly with the
inequalities. As well as in a country there are poor and rich persons, the
world has poor and rich countries. In the same way that we fight in our
countries so that the hunger finishes, it is necessary to make the same thing
in the planet.
Any country, even groups of countries, as the European union, have today the
conditions or the same interests in being able to finish with hunger. The
proposals, the international solidarity, the meetings, the resources dedicated
to that, are always insufficient and they end up to serve much more as a form
rather for employing people from North countries in the countries of the
south.
Is better to annul the debt of the south and the protectionism of the north, than continue with solidarity aids
I am saying all this with all the respect for the good ideas and projects that
come from the countries of the north, but many times I see how technicians,
consultants, volunteers and professionals come to the countries of the south
with interesting ideas, receiving good salaries, but their projects and
proposals are very insufficient. It would be stronger a popular pressure or
even a lobby so that the countries of the north annul the debts of the
countries of the south. Or even to stop to receive resources of the
international solidarity and allow to sell our products without the economic
barriers that those same countries of the north establish.
I see the World Parliament as an effective discussion forum for those topics
having enough force to get from the rich countries an effective change of
posture, towards the decrease of the inequalities. It is the same thing that
happens in the countries where the richest regions distribute the resources of
taxes to the poorest regions. In Brazil, Sâo Paulo is the most industrialized
region, where there are the main industries. A big part of the resources of
taxes of this state goes to other regions of the country, poorer and needier.
In our world, if we want to think of a single world without borders, rich
countries will have to distribute effective resources to poor countries. It is
not necessary that this happens through the international solidarity, but
inside an economic mechanism of redistribution of wealth.
I believe that this principle is fundamental for the World Parliament.
A strong hug, from the south.
