ººº M.-C. Bernard proposes us to view on the site of the WP a short film, that
could revolt us while passing quickly the message of the condition of moral
misery of the humanity. What it could be done in consequence: the WP could be
an intermediate space of regulation of connected funds, it would guarantee the
equality of the assignments and a reactivity on the grassroots allowing to
satisfy the most urgent needs. Such an effort would be agreed by a very large
basis of intelligent, sensitive and jointly shared humans ººº
In reply to Pierre Caro of Nantes, and to the eminent members of this forum.
It would be good to view on the site of WP a short film seen in Manosque, in
the festival 'Instants video". Its name is "the island of flowers", and has
been made by a team of Porto Alegre in 1990. Besides its artistic quality and
its strength sense of humor, the message is fast and biting, going directly to
the heart of an intolerable reality: men comes after pork in this island that
offer trash cans for all surrounding garbage and also pigsty. And a long
waiting line of women and children stands patiently in the entrance, before
going to search on their turn and to eat all that pigs didn't want. All the
spirit of the world social forum is already present in this corrosive lesson
of human things! And the sense of the debate is immediately clear with a
instantaneous revelation of what complete poverty is, associated to a human
residuum! And the extraordinary indifference of the surrounding social
classes, too much absorbed in their daily struggle to accumulate still more
profit! In short, pictures that kill our last illusions, and make fall, in a
time unfortunately too short, the protection of our good conscience, that
protection allowing to live in peace with ourselves.
And I want to consider the information brought by Pierre Caro: all this could
be stopped with 1/10° of the global advertising expenses! We have therefore
there a precise budget, and we know where to find it; it belong to us the
decision of assembling the means to prepare a * true * project to get it! One
of the first steps will be to make circulate a possible as most efficient as
possible information, concerning the unfair situations in this world. In front
of this report, to make represent what would cost to the biggest
multinationals a politics of humanitarian solidarity! And participate in all
this! A challenge to those that have too many houses as they don't know
anymore where they live! The WP could be an intermediate tool of regulation of
connected funds, it would guarantee an equality of the assignments and a
reactivity on the grassroots permitting to satisfy the most urgent needs.
Just big ideas! To enter one day in the court of biggest with a real project,
whose first value is to have been agreed by a very large basis of intelligent,
sensitive and jointly shared humans!
