It has been said that no nation of any size does not have a minority that
struggles, promotes more autonomy for its region - if not independence. Tibet,
Kurds, Basques, Quebec, Tamils etc etc are part of a sub-national movement
that is complimentary to the outreach for a global, planetary identity.
