We should avoid the prejudices of the ideologies of the past

In general terms the presentation of the participants in the WP21 denotes a
high level of mind opening, however, I would like to keep attention about
the appropriate attitude to carry out an exchange with the reach of the WP.
I make reference to what is perceived in initiatives like the World Social
Forum in Porto Alegre, or at least, the way that its information is
presented in my country, Colombia.
Concretely I think that we should avoid the prejudices that have inculcated
us the ideologies of the past. Although our present times (personal and
collective) it is the result of how we lived our past, we should be as
objectives as possible, because, also, our future will be the result of how
we build the present.
Let us expand our conscience: although we visualize it as a planet, the
earth, is also one being in evolution, of which human beings and all life
inside her we are participants. It is in those terms that we should analyze
our civilization. We are part of an evolutionary process, therefore the
humanity's history and their tendencies have to observe them in their
space-time relationship. It is this way that intellectuals can understand
the concept of * compassion *, that is to say, to understand the others
through placing us in their own history.
Those feelings of hates, bitterness, divisions, etc that in the past and
presently they continue generating wars, they are characteristic of an
evolutionary grade whose stream is being already overcome. The participants
of an initiative like the one that occupies us, should be able to transcend
such state in order to be able to set up a way that will bring us to a more
responsible world, where the survival is a characteristic of the past.
That transcendency could be seen through being able to carry out forums
without the emotionality that induce us the ideologies; this way, there is
not sense in accusing the globalization, the neoliberalism, the IMF, WB,
etc., with all the latent violence that is usually manifested in this social
forums. All reality is consequence of a process; let us analyze it
objectively and let us find the hidden truth to be able to build the future
that we are wanting.
The universe is not a chaos, the world is not a chaos, we just should to be
able to overcome our own history and not to see the reality with the eyes of
a single life.
