Jean-Marc Flament in his personal name, Has made some fascinating statements, His recognition of the American public seems to be off a little, last poll said 58 percent of the people would accept the war with Iraq.
What he says suggests that Saddam Hussein is president of a democratic government.
He says Bush is like Hitler, when he needed an excuse to invade Czechoslovakia. It is inexcusable, Tell me, what was France's roll in that invasion. Does the word appeasement come to mind. Does that sound familiar right now.
You like to made references to facts in history that have no relevance. Sounds like propaganda to me. But in that you brought it up. You state that France and the United States will no more be allies. I seem to be missing something, Disregarding the two world wars where the United States lost American lives giving you back your country, I guess you consider that occupation too. But when was France ever an active Ally?
You like to rephrase history. But don't seem to learn much from it. Wasn't it Einstein that said the definition of insanity was repeating the same thing in the same way, an expecting decidedly different results?
Permitting Hitler's Germany to rearm itself after the first war, I think went down in history as a mistake. Of course you have another vision. France felt appeasement was better. Sound familiar?
I am curious, What was the UN vote on permitting Iraq to invade Kuwait?
We didn't hear anything about that here in the States, Probably something else Bush kept from our people. Was France for it?
Your memory is a short as your wisdom. The WP should have a place here. But what good is it if rulers like Saddam Hussein ignore it? How many lives would have been saved if Hitler had been stopped before he was able to start?
I am an American, Your words are no more then appeasement. The vote from France, Belgium, Germany and Russia at NATO was appalling. I can understand and appreciate these countries view at the UN, But not at NATO. If I were you I would be embarrassed.
