Hello.

This is not about the war issue. Uniting the nations now based on trust is a pipe dream.

The UN security counsel sat down and of their own free will voted unanimously to act if Iraq didn't comply with its demands, they weren't forced to make their vote, but they did.

When it came time to act, France, Germany, Russia and China changed their minds. Not only that but they tried to force their will into NATO Further disrupting the concept of international trust.

The whole point behind coming to an agreement is that when the time comes you will act.

If that were a simultaneous policy agreement they would agree then opt out at the time to act. I can't see any reason it would happen any different.

I would agree with you more than ever though, that the only way now to gain sanity is through the voice of the people themselves.

The concept of simultaneous policy from the people up, I think could work. But based on what just happened, there is no trust among nations at the UN. A precedence has been set by France, Germany, Russia and China. The precedence is, voting does not mean anything.

Based on this new turn of events I believe our focus in the WP should be from the ground up, within each nation. The peoples of the world can be trusted, we do trust each other still, that's true I believe all over the world, we can use that as a beginning.

Regards, Frank Houck
