ººº Abstract: Two rough governments have just challenged and manipulated the public opinion and the UN, who had been created to guarantee the peace. For lacking of proofs on the massive destruction weapons of Iraq, they unveiled their truly objective of reversing its regime, in contravention of the international law. The fight for a WP should now be focused in the fight for peace, on the denounce of these leaders who should answer for their crimes in an ICC. Only at that moment our project of WP will become credible again. ººº
(Jean-Marc sent the following message to the list several days ago. At first we asked him to modify it somewhat because we didn't want the discussion about the war to dominate the list. However, he has again made the point that we shouldn't let business go on as usual while the US and Britain have invaded another country and are blatantly undermining and violating the UN Charter and International Law.
Thus we are posting Jean-Marc's message, so that you can decide individually, and we can all decide as a group, how we might want to respond to it. Hopefully we can continue on with our regular agenda and discussion about creating a World Parliament, even while we consider what we might be able to do to stop the war and to ensure that all countries abide by international law. -- WP21 Team)
This Thursday morning, two rough states have challenged the global public opinion and the United Nations Organization, which was precisely created to guarantee the peace.
They manipulated the UNO by attempting to put it in their side concerning the massacre that they have fomented long ago, they have made of UN their involuntary collaborator while asserting that that was first of all about disarming Iraq, and they have then required the plans and other sensitive data of the country, they have even obtained the destruction by Iraq of its missiles Al-Samoud, which have a 33 km superior range to the authorized.
As no proof of possession of massive destruction weapons can be brought, and as Saddam Hussein appeared to have a good will, these roughs have take out their mask and asserted that their objective was reversing the Iraqi régime, which is contrary to the international law.
I should therefore to stop my participation in this forum for the creation of a World Parliament, because this one will always remain a dream as long as the world population will not show its will to respect their opinion.
The fight for a WP takes now another face. In the countries aligned with the United States, the alter-globalists and demonstrators for peace have the responsibility now to do a general strike in order to paralyze the power and to force it to resign.
In the other countries, the partisans of the peace have the responsibility to boycott the products of the United States, Great Britain and Spain and especially not go to these countries without any excuse, as long as they will be polluted by the presence of such leaders unworthy of any public responsibility.
Bush, Blair and Aznar should answer for their crimes in front of an International Criminal Court because it is only at this moment that our project of WP will become again credible.
It is not anymore the time to words but to action!
