Dear All,
Plurality should be one of the foundations of the WP. I don't see therefore why some would wish that we standardized our languages to adopt a universal language.
The language is an element of culture, civilization and identity for a people. Let's let as much languages as possible to be expressed in the WP so that as much cultures as possible could converse among them.
We have already identified some languages by which to express ideas, visions, opinions, experiences. Why do we wish to make even more complex the process of creation of the WP. It is better not to add complexity to the already complex process.
I want to call also to your practical sense. While wanting to be disconnected of the reality in order to fly to the clouds of the aerial theory we are risking to enter in areas of turbulences which will make us to loss our horizon and the crash will be felt even more strongly.
The reality, is poverty, war or wars, misery... In such conditions, how to manage in creating a WP that would be a place of dialogue? of power? of counter-power? of decisions? (or all this simultaneously) for a plural, united and responsible world.
