Guerre en Iraq
John D. GIORGIS
Friday, 18 April 2003

* how many victims innocents your bombardments have them fact in Afghanistan and in Iraq? Ten times more or hundred times more? *

According to the Iraqi government itself, which is almost certainly exaggerating, there have been less than 2,000 civilian deaths due to coalition bombing. Not bad, considering that UNICEF has stated that Saddam Hussein caused the deaths of 5,000 children under age 5 *alone* every month.

* I think, me, that an American life and an Iraqi or Afghan life have the same value precisely. A Belgian or French life also. *

I agree. That is why the United States has undertaken these campaigns which will * save * lives in Iraq and Afghanistan each year, by causing fewer people to die each year than if we had intervened.

* Reply to these arguments and the dialogue will be able to continue. *

Unfortunately, I do not see how your attacks on my country and its constitutionally elected government further the discussion towards a WP that we are here for.
