Re: A call to all retirees of the world

To Pierre Caro, which I thank for his valuable testimony.

The demographic ageing of the population, which is going to know an extreme peak in 2025, is really going to reverse the economic and sociological equilibrium of our modern civilization founded on the nuclear family, 4 to 5 generations will be able to coexist, and sometimes in a same accommodation because of the keeping at home of the most aged.

In this time hyper individualistic where only the * youth-ism * imposes its cultural values and its law in the market, we are going all to raise a major challenge: a new society founded on the interdependence of the generations and the return to the organic solidarity of neighborhood and proximity.

To think the habitat, the districts, the cities in terms of inter-generational equilibrium, so much at the level of the architectures, the exterior places, the services and the business, is the only solution. We are not going to continue to park our elders in isolated institutions where due to a lack of means in staff of company and nursing, by carelessness and lack of time we are accelerating the process of dependence of the most fragile persons, which becomes quickly incontinent or physically and mentally disabled... stop to this waste of human ends of life, to these non identified human objects and to this disdain that involves us all!!! Our real fight is not to live a long time but to live with dignity until the end!

So I agree completely with you, Pierre, that is * this time * of which the retirees dispose, which is necessary to enjoy! It is from this valuable resource that a real interpersonal exchange will be able to be managed! So it will be able to reconsider the citizen education and the humankind of these young people so disoriented between their real and virtual world, and to help morally these thousands of over-graded and unemployed at the end of the account the chain! To give a central role to the retired people in the human education of the young, there is a possible action for a World Parliament.

Perhaps our future world leaders, representatives of the assembly of the peoples, will be the result of a highly technical education but who will have known to remain also highly human and wise, thanks to the contribution of the elders....

Best whishes to all of you, young or elders, actives or retirees!
Marie-Christine
