Creating a large and diverse coalition, or trying to change the political class?
Germà PELAYO

Hello all. Hello again Fernando,

Listen, your vision is that of a simple message to be diffused and understood by masses (call them citizenship or what you want): for you, the only solution to all our problems is global democracy and everybody must understand and support this in order to be able to obtain other social improvements later on. The people of this world don't know what it is necessary and they are dominated, so we must show them the way for their liberation. Working for convince the others is really different than discussing by accepting previously that somebody can convince ourselves.

I don't know if all the people of the world knows or not what they want, but I want to imagine that all of them know it enough. This is for me an act of trust: to treat each other in complete equality from the beginning, democracy must to be practice here and now. There are enough visions for a global change, as respectable as those that you are proposing, regarding to give priority to a citizen movement focusing only in an exclusively political change. In my opinion it is necessary to build a wide pact of all the humankind in its ideological, cultural and propositive diversity, in front of the narrow dominant unilateralism.

Then I don't believe that it is about to convince those having these other positions (from Marxists and anarchists until liberal humanists, etc. and a lot of not classified people), which are giving priority to other changes, before to the change of the global political régime, that they must change their position, because they won't do it. The idea is to try to practice a kind of informal embryonic democracy by means of an active mediation and animation of discussions leading these actors to a scenario with some new game rules: leading them to build * their own different political global programs * for the XXI century in, for example, 20 points or proposals, and later to diffuse, to compare and to argue the points of all them, in other larger citizen spaces of discussion, in order to reach a minimal agreement that can mobilize everybody to try to force the definitive political change.

Best regards,
Germà
