Re: A new political party

Dear Troy,

It may be, as you suggest, that what is required is a new political party. In which case, in order to command the respect and attention of the representative elites which now direct our international affairs, it will be necessary to begin with local, community based democratic organizations. These small, local organizations which would receive direct input of the citizen through electronic and other means would, in aggregate speak with a force which could not be denied.

Therefore, the name "WORLD CITIZEN PARTY" with the by-line "LET THE PEOPLE SPEAK" would be my choice from the alternatives you have offered.

The party would be distinguished by the fact that it's voice would be that of millions of people whose local voice is organized to be heard on an International level.

Who could deny such a voice?

Stan Price
