Introduction of Lillete BARLEY-WAITE
Lillete BARLEY-WAITE
Sunday, 25 May 2003 21:53:41 +0200

Lillette Barkley-Waite - African Descendant, age 54 and mother of five children. A former City Councilor (1999 - 2003), an activist on social, economic and human issues with a special interest in women and children. I currently co-host a weekly radio talk show and presently the country's national representative for the Caribbean Association for Feminist Research and Action (CAFRA).

I feel strongly about democracy, unfortunately I see a form of "guided democracy" being practiced worldwide under the guise of Democracy. It is my hope that one day a system like the Alliance will prevail. I pray that I may be allowed to continue to work for the betterment of all people.

May the Ancestors and the Orisas continue to shower you with Love, peace, blessings and happiness
