Dear Troy and all:
The more I've thought about the idea of a new political party, the better I like it.
Our survival depends upon politicians from all parts of the world accepting the principle that the highest priority is the WORLD PUBLIC INTEREST.
From this it naturally follows that we need a new global system that can end wars and disarm the weapons of mass destruction.
Selfish nationalism is the past. It is death and destruction.
We must form a democratic world federation. There must be a World Parliament representing "we, the people."
I therefore favour a new political party called the WORLD CITIZENS PARTY. The WORLD CITIZENS PARTY can symbolize much of what we are trying to teach the world.
Dr. Lucile Green also likes the idea and name WORLD CITIZENS PARTY, and plans to discuss it with the Unitarian Church here in Berkeley, California, USA.
A political party with a worldwide identification can accommodate all of us who want world peace, human rights, and an environmentally sustainable earth.
The WORLD CITIZENS PARTY can develop a platform. Those of us in the Earth Federation under the Earth Constitution can join because the Earth Constitution calls for a World Parliament.
We are neither Left or Right or Centre, we are in Front!
