Hello,
I wanted to tell you that I am fascinated with the quantity of answers to the message on the World Party. I should thank to Troy by such idea. In fact him has done nothing but what he uses to do very well, as some of you know already that he is an indefatigable promoter of global democracy and a person that contaminates his optimism wherever he goes. His message seems to have touching a special sense of us: our will of seeing something build, beyond the only list of discussion.
My question to all of you is: what can we do, from now on?
a) do we need to adopt now a method of decision-making? If you believe that yes, which it would be the more appropriate for the group in the current conditions (a virtual list with almost 250 participants)
b) what do we want to do, or what can we do, at a global scale? (besides of the way in which Troy is developing such project at a European scale) one party?, one movement?, both of them?, or even, as Troy himself told to me the other day, maybe several things at the same time (party, network, association, center of studies, consultancy, etc.) in order to expect one or some of them to be consolidated and pushing the raising of the others?
c) should we build a program? (e.g. a list with some points like eliminating poverty, weapons of massive destruction, requiring the universal income, adopting the simultaneous politics, etc.) or should we focus our message in only promoting the Parliament and global democracy?
d) (put here your questions if needed - general ones, not too much detailed, please)
The more answers received, the better.
We will waot some days for seeing which are your answers, as well as for seeing if there are more questions. Then we can count them and to decide what to do according to those results. Please, those who * don't * like to see more organization in the group than the list of discussion, and those rejecting the fact of counting, please give also your opinion and arguments, thanks.
Another thing to be done can be to enumerate and to classify the answers already sent to Troy's message:
- pro or against the idea of Global Party;
- the different names of the * party * raised and how many people have supported them;
- to try to assemble the different arguments (more difficult) etc. All this would already help to respond enough well the b) question.
Does anybody want to prepare such list of opinions?
A hug,
Germà
